Avast Virus Definitions is an application which updates your Avast! virus database with the latest virus signatures along with techniques for detection and removal.
Avast! Antivirus features iAVS, a fast automatic update based on Internet connection. New virus definitions are released at least twice a week.
Avast! updates automatically if your computer is connected to the Internet. Download and install Avast Virus Definitions only if your computer doesn’t have Internet access to ensure you have the latest antivirus protection.
Installing is simple, just run the definitions file and the antivirus will update.
