Rootkits are independent software components that are capable of hiding processes, registry data, files and network connections. An increasing number of spyware and viruses are using rootkits to hide themselves in the system.
F-Secure BlackLight Rootkit Detection is a handy security tool that can detect and remove hidden spyware and viruses by renaming them. The program can also detect files, folders and processes hidden from the user and other programs.
Note: This application is a Response Lab Tool and it was meant to be used in customer cases. Product support is not provided.
