ClamAV Virus Databases - The daily updated Virus Database

ClamAV Virus Databases contains the latest virus definition files for the open-source ClamWin Antivirus.

This download represents the daily updated virus database for ClamWin Antivirus, a free and open-source antivirus for Windows-based systems that’s very easy to install and delivers a scheduler, virus database updates, standalone scanner, context menu integration to Windows Explorer and Add-in to Microsoft Outlook.
Manual update instructions: Store the downloaded main.cvd and daily.cvd to the current database location (specified in the ClamWin Preferences). The database is located by default in “C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/.clamwindb”.

Note: ClamWin Antivirus doesn’t include an on-access real-time scanner. The only way to verify a file for viruses or spyware is to perform a manual scan.
